Why this matters
Duplicate designs with controlled spacing, use virtual arrays where appropriate, and combine arrays with Variable Text for production batches.
How it works
- Grid Array creates regularly spaced rows and columns and can control spacing, shifts, mirroring and other layout behavior.
- Virtual Arrays create synchronized clones that can remain linked to the original geometry.
- Array tools can automatically advance Variable Text offsets for serial or CSV workflows.
- Circular Array places copies radially around a point or central object.
Practical workflow
- Finish and test one master design first.
- Choose Grid Array for rows/columns or Circular Array for radial placement.
- Set spacing based on part clearance, kerf, hold-down and material use.
- Use Virtual Array if synchronized editing is useful.
- Preview the full batch and verify Variable Text output before production.
What to watch for
- Duplicating an untested design multiplies the mistake.
- Spacing that looks efficient on screen may leave too little material between through-cuts.
